Is whipped icing bad to use on a wedding cake?
My boyfriend likes whipped icing, and that was his only stipulation on any “future” wedding cake that we may have. However, whipped icing has to be refrigerated, so I thought it would be a bad idea. Are there any “bakers” out there who might know more about this?
It’s best to ask your baker. Many of the whipped frosting they use are actually non-dairy. but even if it wasn’t I wouldn’t worry about it. It’s only going to be sitting out for a few hours.
